Beta Systems and Visual Record

Echo Protocol reaches a documented beta checkpoint with timed operations, staged contact analysis, mobile cartography refinements, and a public visual record.

Objective

Bring the current Echo Protocol development build to a coherent beta checkpoint while preserving the game's exploration, industrialization, replication, and distributed-command loop.

Work

Production timing was established for major operations: scanning takes 12 seconds, mining-drone fabrication 30 seconds, orbital-fabricator construction 90 seconds, Echo replication 180 seconds, and each contact-analysis stage 45 seconds. Simulation controls continue to support 1x, 2x, and 4x speed.

Contact analysis now exposes visible staged progress for isolating a signal, analyzing modulation, tracking transmitters, and attempting contact. Each stage must complete before the next becomes available.

The iPhone Stellar Cartography view was tightened so more command controls remain visible beneath the map without removing the map itself.

Result

The beta build now communicates long-running operations more clearly and gives contact analysis a deliberate sequence instead of an immediate chain of actions.

The project record also gained a six-image gallery covering Prime Initialization, Orbital Operations, Replication, Stellar Cartography, the Command Deck, and the Echo Network, plus the Prime Operations Handbook and an authorized beta-launch link.

Next

Continue visual refinement of stars, planets, moons, nebulae, and other space objects while expanding the playable content around the established beta systems.
