The working record
Lab Notes is the working record of HollowTech Labs. Projects pages describe what a system is; Lab Notes records what happened while building it.
That means successful builds belong here, but so do dead ends, strange measurements, failed prototypes, design decisions, and the small discoveries that would otherwise disappear between work sessions.
What gets documented
Entries can be build logs, experiments, technical notes, test reports, failure reports, or discoveries. Some will attach to a specific project and others will document tools, fabrication methods, radio experiments, software ideas, or whatever happens to be on the bench.
The goal is not to make every entry polished. The goal is to leave enough of a record that the work can be understood, repeated, improved, or avoided later.
Starting point
This first entry opens the notebook itself. From here, project work can create Lab Notes whenever there is something useful to preserve instead of waiting for a project to be finished before documenting it.
